Selecting a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you make as a parent. Countryside Christian School provides students with instruction in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of life while providing an academically excellent education. We teach the Bible, which we believe is the inspired Word of God, while helping students learn to respect authority and develop Christian character and self control.
Parental Mandate
According to the Bible, God commands believing parents to educate their children in the ways of the Lord (Deut. 6:4-9, Jeremiah 10:20, Proverbs 19:27, Ephesians 6:4, Proverbs 22:6). The Christian school exists to help parents fulfill this God-given responsibility.
Scholarships
Your child may be eligible for a scholarship through the Florida Department of Education. McKay and Corporate Tax Credit Scholarships are currently available. For more information, we urge you to visit www.floridaschoolchoice.org. Another resource you may apply for is the income-based scholarship program through the Florida AAA Scholarship Foundation at www.aaascholarships.org.
Enrollment Policy
Countryside Christian School is open to any and all children from homes of “like faith” in our community. Applicants are welcome regardless of race or social status.
We do request that at least one of the child’s parents be a practicing Christian and a faithful member of a local, Bible-believing church. Is it also necessary that parents share our philosophy of education and discipline. Parents will be asked to sign a parental Pledge of Support.
Countryside Christian School is not a “reform school”. We do not accept students who have been in trouble at or expelled from other schools due to drugs, alcohol, immorality, or bad behavior. Although we do offer a complete high school curriculum, we do not routinely offer initial enrollment to students above the 8th grade.
Our students are eligible for Bright Futures, dual enrollment through Santa Fe College, and enrollment in online classes through Florida Virtual School.
